During Advent vermittelt die oberbayerische Wallfahrtsstadt eine einzigartige heimelige Atmosphäre, die in besonderer Weise auf das „schönste Fest des Jahres“ einstimmt.

Der weitläufige, von prächtigen Barockgebäuden gesäumte Platz - in seiner Mitte die kleine Gnadenkapelle - beherbergt seit Jahrzehnten einen der schönsten Christmas Markets Deutschlands. Der Altötting Christmas Market bietet from 28 November bis 21. Dezember 2008 ein originelles Sortiment handwerklicher and kunsthandwerklicher Produkte and nicht zuletzt eine gute Auswahl regionaler kulinarischer Spezialitäten.

Tägliches Veranstaltungsprogramm: 17:00 and 19:00 hours, Saturday and Sunday at 14:00, 17:00 and 19:00 hours mit Bläser-Ensemble and Chören auf der Marktbühne. Der Heilige Nikolaus ist täglich at 17:00 hours anwesend. Geöffnet Mo-Fr 14:00 to 20:00 hours, Sa/So 11:00 to 20:00 hours
