Chemnitz ON ICE

Ein ganz besonderes Highlight erwartet visitors der Chemnitzer City from the first weekend of Advent. Die Interessengemeinschaft Chemnitzer downtown area e.V. sorgt in der Zeit from 26 November 2004 bis 30. Januar 2005 mit dem Aufstellen eines 800 qm großen mobilen skating rink für innerstädtisches Eislaufvergnügen pur. Auf dem freien Platz an der Theaterstraße / Ecke Webergasse kann man dann kostenlos seine Runden drehen.
Das Eislaufen selbst hat in Chemnitz eine große Tradition and brachte der Stadt weltweit den Ruf als Eiskunstlaufmetropole ein. Wer sich nicht selbst aufs Eis begeben will, kann live das Training bzw. Schaulaufen der kleinen and großen Chemnitzer Eislaufsportler verfolgen.
